Haunting Activity: The ghost of a young is frequently seen in the fifth-floor hallway and in the door of room 508, although she has never been reported in the room itself. One of those killed in a tragic fire was a 12-year-old girl named Melissa.

History: The only hotel located at Jackson Square, the Place D'Armes is comprised of flowering courtyards and 18th century buildings that were the site of a tragic fire in the mid-1800s.
