Haunting Activity: The older buildings are haunted by a poltergeist that opens and closes doors, jumps on beds and performs other harmless tricks. Voices and footsteps can be heard during the evening hours.

History: Listed on the National Register of Historic Places,
the original lodge was built in 1904 by Jim Doyle. The current lodge consists
of nine private rooms, a bunkhouse (attic), two bathrooms, a general store
and a post office. A wagon repair shop, two cabins and other buildings have
also added. In all, eleven buildings are on the National Register.
